With the draws the July now looks open as all in sundry was naming Belgarion as the likely winner prior to the draw. The Garden Province is the race of the day ( who can ever forget that wonder horse beach beauty winning this race on the bridle a few times :woohoo: )
Celtic Sea and Clouds Unfold looks the match race but Vistula could surprise at a decent price, a cracking race

Good morning Bob

In response to The Saint's query, Horseracing's Premier Form Guide, ComputaForm, is already available online.

One can get this at:

news.tabonline.co.za/Computaform/ComputaForm

We will not be printing the ComputaForm, but are considering commencing with the printing of ComputaForm Express.

This will be confirmed within the next couple of days.

Kind regards

They should bring Jeff Lloyd out of retirement to ride this!

I have backed Golden Ducat heavy ,this is ridiculous not knowing who will ride the horse in the biggest race in South Africa..If Bernard lost some weight even with 55kg they might as well have a go..think the other jockeys Strydom,Cheyne cannot move due to restrictions effective 1 July .So outside of these top jocks if you look at the carded jockeys on the day we left with Godden,Gumede,Jabu and Jacobson ...Im not sure if international jocks permitted to come to SA with restrictions...They need to decide so we can look at alternatives if we feel jock won't do it.This is a huge horse and needs a strong jock aboard to bounce him out and stay handy otherwise from draw 1 they going to be all over him.

I've got to sympathize with u ELMO, having a heavy punt & NOT knowing who the jock is.
as you've highlighted........ ALL top jocks appear to be taken up in the JULY race..... baring Bernard,
who can't do that weight........... i'd like to know why Bernard has GOT NO RIDES ON JULY DAY AT ALL........
perhaps he's still injured ?

He is riding in Cape Town. Made his "permitted" move from KZN back to Cape Town.

You seem very disturbed that you dont know who the jockey is aboard your heavy punt. I dont understand why you took the punt then. Relax.

I'm expecting the horse to win many multiples into it ...Rattrays bought the horse from Slacks ,on breeding and form I make it a massive runner.Surely in a big race there must have been plans for a senior jockey to ride the horse ...Not stressing I think fair value is warranted given its the July ...anyway let's see what happens, cheers

Elmo it depends how much money you are talking or the odds you currently have?
You can ease your stress by offering your bookie 20/1 or maybe 25/1 and sleep easy with Rxxxx/0

Good punting

I'm no expert by any means but if you like this one than Padre Pio must also have a good chance, beat GD in the last 2 starts. Had a dream this horse ran a cracker race. The last time had a dream Wylie hall ran a cracker and then again for Marineresco. At the current odd it can't hurt anyone. Gonna be going for PP and Rainbow Bridge. Btw Clouds unfold the banker of the day. A lot of peeps saying caralluma in the 5th but I have my doubts as each year race 5 or 6 throw out an upset
Good punting.

Surely not going to be lot between Clouds Unfold and Celtic Sea - but I think this is the proverbial 2-horse race - Ronnie's Candy needs a galloping track like Turffontein and Vistula will probably beat her at Greyville - but I think neither can hold a candle to the top 2 ....

Best banker for me is Carraluma - can't see any of the other juvenile fillies matching her; not sure how good Vihaan's Pie is, but from that draw, I'm siding with Carraluma - other races as per usual on July day, look open
