From the Racing Post

Voyageofdiscovery
1.30 Dundalk

Thomond O'Mara's Dundalk regular is on a 17-race losing streak but as a result he has never been rated so attractively in his career and this could be his best chance to hit the target for some time.

Now competing off a career-low mark of 50, 3lb lower than his last success over course and distance, Voyageofdiscovery also has the benefit of Dylan Browne McMonagle's claim and should go very close with fitness no excuse after a couple of runs to blow away the cobwebs.

Aerclub
2.00 Dundalk

Henry de Bromhead isn't renowned for producing two-year-olds to win on debut but Aerclub looked useful when doing just that here in November, getting the better of the now 92-rated Dune Of Pilat.

It wouldn't be unreasonable to expect him to improve for that experience and he gets the nod in a tricky contest despite having to give weight away to all challengers.

Yuften
2.30 Dundalk

The 2016 Balmoral Handicap winner seems to have spent time in every stable bar Bethlehem but is a thoroughly likeable performer who should take all the beating back in claiming company.

This looks an excellent opportunity for Denis Hogan's nine-year-old on ratings if sharp enough on his return from a short break, and he is aiming for an eighth win at the track.

Juliet Rose
3.00 Dundalk

Joseph O'Brien appears to hold the key to this maiden and preference is for the well-bred Camelot filly Juliet Rose, who was just touched off over course and distance five weeks ago.

Stablemate Presgrave finished behind the selection on that occasion but looks open to plenty of improvement and has blinkers applied, so should finish closer this time around at the very least.

Getgo
3.30 Dundalk

Plenty have questions to answer here and a tentative vote is for Keith Clarke's course and distance winner, who is sure to appreciate this trip better than the 1m4f he was tried over last time.

He ran creditably enough in a couple of races with more depth than this assignment around here in recent months and the drop to a joint career-low mark gives him a sporting chance.

Gougane Barra
4.00 Dundalk

Mick Halford's six-year-old is undoubtedly a well-handicapped horse but slow starts have been his Achilles heel and keeping the faith with him is proving testing.

However, it could be worth giving him one more chance back over 1m4f for a trainer-jockey combination always respected at this venue.

Fit For Function
4.30 Dundalk

There was encouragement to be taken from how well Joe Murphy's five-time winner fared over an insufficient 5f here last week and he must have a real chance if replicating that effort back over 6f.

Gary Carroll, who has been aboard for all of the
67-rated performer's victories, again takes the ride and his mount looks the most solid selection in a race where Major Power and Poet's Pride need to prove they are still ahead of the handicapper.

Lady Maura
5.00 Dundalk

Johnny Murtagh visited the winner's enclosure at Ireland's sole all-weather venue last week with a 14-1 winner and it wouldn't be a shock to see him celebrating after the concluding contest with Lady Maura.

Around this time last year she was gearing up to be sold for €300,000 at the Arqana Breeze Up sales as a half-sister to Group 1 winner Donjuan Triumphant and she could improve for her recent return when midfield in a maiden.
