Millers Thumb is always a great experience in CPT, run by a husband & wife team
Coffee and scones at Hillcrest berry farm on the way to Thelema and lunch at Rubens in Franshoek.

Nelsons Eye is excellent for steaks, Orinoco in Bree Street fantastic value and great food... South American Tapas and mains, good vibe....
Bloemendal on Vissershok Road excellent sea food buffet with great sea views and sunsets. If you lucky you even get to fire the cannon.
Sorry TS... Rubens not my favourite
...
Lotters, stay away from the big malls and tourist traps and you will find many great restaurants...especially in Kloofnek, Gardens area.

If ever in Hout Bay, go have Calamari and chips at the Hout Bay Hotel with a bottle of Hermanuspietersfontein rose. Best in the world!!!
