Up until the beginning of last seasons comp, The Thunder were on a 13 or 14 match losing run. Then last season they looked like world champs and won the comp. Now this season they are back to their losing ways. The are virtually out of the running already and the season is just a few days old.

Chook, my nephew thinks the Perth Scorcher will win the trophy this year.

they have a huge chance as they are unbeatable at home. They have the players especially if Johnson fires. I am going with the Brisbane Heat as McCullum is in their team.

Imo, the Scorchers will be, and are the best drilled and coached team. Justin Langer has them very well trained and they all know their roles very well. If it was 50 over cricket I would say yes, easy game. I just think the Stars will have to much fire power in the 20/20 format.
