Pathetic attempt to win the match by India, taking single after single without any risk of losing a wicket. Dhoni appeared not to be trying at all to win the match, not saying that if he went for it they would have won, but at least give it a shot. England were very good in the field today and batted exceptionally.

England v India could be the semi final match second place finisher against third. Australia are in a good position to finish top of the table.

The Aussies better be careful as they play the might in world cricket which is the wilting Proteas.

The 4 best sides in the comp are where they are. Hoping its a England v Aussie final as India really made me mad today by giving up. NZ always flop at the end of comps so wont make the final this time round.

I think the only country SA can knock out of the top 4 would be England, provided SA win all their remaining games and England lose theirs. Let's say both New Zealand and India finish on 9 points, and SA also finish on the same, then i think the head - to - head clashes would come into play first before net run rates, so having lost to both NZ and India, SA cannot finish above them in the standings - i think that's how it works.

Just checked the rules for classification/progress into the semis :-

1) Points
2) Wins
3) Net run rate
4) Results of games between tied teams

With the current standings and net run rates, think New Zealand would want to bat second in their clash with England. Pakistan will be rooting for New Zealand on Wednesday. Bangladesh cannot afford to lose any of their remaining games, they face India and Pakistan.
