Football Comp 22/23

Season kicks off in a month so time to set up another comp

Thinking of adding extras for extra points.

As there are 7 of us we should have vote on whether just to play EPL or as for last season the SPL or even adding the Italian league

A just for EPL
B EPL and SPL
C EPL SPL ITALIAN

just quote a letter and the letter with the most votes is the comp that we will play

Obviously if you don’t want to play at all then that’s ok
World Cup will be included in the comp as there will be no league matches played during the WC

7 votes will ensure an outcome.

Welcome back CnC.Missed your imput re racing Moore. Even though the SPL caught me out many times last season,I`m going to vote B.

Awaiting Tnaickers vote between B and C with 2 to B and 3 to C atm

If it’s a tie then the reigning champ, durbs, gets another vote.

Appears that tnaicker has abstained. So it’s all three leagues then.

My thoughts on making the comp more interesting same points 3 for a correct score 1 for the correct result and a double.

Adding to the above. How about a triple point match in the final EPL game of the weekend be it the late Sunday afternoon kick off or the Monday evening match? Also predict the minute in which the first goal will be scored for an additional point? So that match alone can bring 10 points.

If we do go with above then we cannot also pick a double on that match, sorry Cross if Liverpool is the last match of the round.


Any other thoughts of point scoring to make it more fun, please add.

Scottish kicks off 30th July PL 5th August and Italian 14th August

We will have a separate comp for the WC in Nov/Dec (Maybe get more to play and make that a paid in comp) See what happens when the time comes.
