The 707's used to have four. Then later on, three. Nowadays two. They are now trying to get to one. Cost savings I think.

would you fly if you knew that there was only one person up in the cockpit? No airline in their right mind would only have a one man cockpit crew, as what happens if he has a heart attack or has a stroke etc

most airlines have a policy if one of the pilots jumps to the bog an airhostess jumps in his seat.. not sure if it`s well regulated?

ps i see the have came to their senses and have started calling this mass murder instead of suicide
