Singapore needs some decent jockeys badly.
When you get a lady having her first ride being put on a 11-10 favorite you know your jockey ranks are at an all time low.
She rode a decent race and finished 2nd.
A jock just fell off now and how spaced out some of the fields are in running shows their pace judgement ain't the best.
Hopefully JP gets on some nice horses this year.
Beuzelin,Purton's cousin,is still there so one to brass for me.
Maia decent.
Duric, not riding today and not sure if he will be back this year, maybe just suspended.
Appie's look rubbish and the senior riders like Powell and Woodworth still there but have never been top jockeys.
Lerner might have a good season but all in all very poor jockey quality.
I think the jockeys in Mauritius are better than Singapore, and we know how bad those jockeys are.
Expect upsets and big dividends this year I would think.

The late money in Singapore is deadly.
Third time today I have seen the odds drop drastically 30 seconds before the off and they have all won.

Wherever pari mutuel betting is strong, the bookmakers are overlaying some horses. There are certain whys of figuring out the overlays.
If you get the price, like for instance you got 7s but the horse in reality suppose to be closer to 2/1 your strike rate only needs to be 1 in 5 to make a profit. If you get 2 or 3 out of 5 then you will make good returns.
And soon after that you will be limited.

STC need to hire quality jockeys, how can you rehire Chavez? I don't remember him making any impact last time he was here besides making the numbers with other appies like Ng

They are terrible Eram.
When you got Beuzelin in contention for champion jockey you know you got problems.
Maia by far the best when Duric not there.

Had a lot of time to study todays Kranji card.
Duric seems losing touch, is he tired of winning too much?
Mr Malek seems to face a weak field, should win easily but with Kranji they always bring to the top the one we don't like. I'm not adding it to my Canadian the odds are too skinny, i prefer evens or better. I also like Decreto thou these Class 5 contests always bring upset results. Hope Try See is back to best fitness. My Jackpot legs are last 4 legs of Bipot.
