Vermaelen, Arteta and now Mertasaker both Vermaelen and Arteta left the club the season after so Mertasakers time is running out. Same happened with Henry, Fabregas and RVP although they were not injured but we're not too long in the job before they left. Tony Adams was the best captain that Arsenal have ever had the more pissed he was the better he played and captained

Only team ive ever supported in England :) one of my favourite gunners of all time was Mark Overmars. I was a real admirer of him.

That was some team used to hammer Chelsea every time we played them something like 25 matches straight.

Isn't this squad/team quota enforced by Fikile?

the All Blacks are 2/7 on Hollywood . Easiest money you will ever make . If there was a horse race with one runner and the price was 2/7 what would you do ? take a second bond , sell your wife's jewelry because it is money for jam

cannot blame the current coach. Meyer messed it all up by selecting all of his pals from his days at the Bulls. Players who should have been selected by him are only now getting their chance and as we all know it takes a good 6 -10 tests to make your mark. Give it this season then watch them.
The previous coach had nothing to do with the selection of this squad.

Straus (as captain?), Habana. Morne Steyn, Hougaard to name a few – what are they doing in the squad?

This bullshit about making your mark after six to ten tests – get a real coach like Eddie Jones

You just cannot accept the fact that your hero Meyer destroyed SA rugby with his selections and tactics. I said that a player needs 6 to 10 matches not a coach. Catch a wake up fingers

Not the best team imo - can perhaps make a case for Goosen as le Roux is injured (I think) and there is no one else that really says 'pick me'. But why fall back on Habana? And the center combination does not inspire confidence; neither Mohoje nor Louw would make my team - and Strauss is playing on reputation - I would much rather go with the Lion's hooker.

Let's wait and see- we may be able to scrape past Argentina at home, but I won't be surprised if we lose all the other games :(
