Thank God. Couldn't understand why they were offering 1/10. But as you said Scotia, the french are known for their strange objections.

It was all about the going in Paris this weekend, especially on Saturday.
Tommy, when you make a statement like Rachel not being in your top 20 it makes you look silly.
I covered racing as a journalist for years and have raced horses since the early 1970s around the world and I have never seen any 3-year-old filly in the United States that was as good as Rachel Alexandra. She might have won the Kentucky Derby by double digits had she not had a fraidy cat for an owner.

You of all people should know Barry that the diverse opinions of the racing enthusiasts is what keeps the racing spirit alive. I personally think she met an extremely weak bunch of 3 year olds and that even though she beat some older horses too, those races were run to suit her.
Anyway I certainly would never try put you off your opinion of her as a champion, she simply is not that impressive a horse for me. She could do no more then win however and I guess that is why she was voted horse of the year?

The ride on Goldikova was one of the best rides I have seen when he was passed he continued sitting quietly so much so that I thought maybe he was just going to ease her out of the race yet he just pushed her out with his hands and she got back up unbeleivable

Harry i saw her in the preparade un saddled and she actually looks like a colt. A power of a horse, muscular and althetic at the same time. Now wonder they push buttons on her.
