Horribly wrong with Saturdays predictions, coupled with a run of 5 losing race meetings at Vaal Sand (most favoured track) leaves one feeling humble, low in confidence and hesitant about today’s racing.
The challenge remains – how to address the race card with creativity and a balanced approach of possibilities and probabilities – keeping faith with developed values and beliefs and remembering the main objective is to have fun!
Here goes:-
R1 6 VICTORY SERENADE – good draw although can come from behind, top jock, proven on sand, sluggish lto. Quartet dbl flt 1+6 with 5-7-8-11. Swg 6 with 1-7-11.
R2 10 AZWA – trainer good on sand, Quartet dbl flt 9+10 w 2-13-15-16.
R3 Looks easy for 5 Danish yet want to be creative here and follow the draw. Dbl flt 1+8 w 2-3-5-7.
R4 Tricky, like Incomodo as a sand specialist yet trainer is off-form here! Will go 1-5-7 in the PA.
R5 Hardest race of the day, 5-6-11 in PA.
R6 9 SUCHA WONDER – can take advantage of good draw whilst the ‘classy’ 7 may well struggle from draw 13. Really like the form of 3 Desolate View who has good sand form, often from poor draws – can she overcome the o/s draw today? Quartet dbl flt. 3+9 with 2-6-7-13, swg 3+9.
R7 1 KENTUCKY EXPRESS on good lto, 1+9 in the PA
R8 7 JOSHUA’S SONG good consistent sand form last year, trainer’s runners do well at this course. Is he fit enough? Quartet dbl flt 7+9 w 5-6-10-16. Box swg. 7-9-10.

umlilo and zesto; thanks for picking up the deliberate mistake(tu); this is what happens when one tries to multi-task (bloody work is interfering today)

@Frodo:
You not alone; I've got the added handicap of bifocals- must try the blinkers with the lamb's wool nose band?

Thats a joke by G. Lerena? He is unable to push his horse, there was enouph space, no need to change to the left. and HE asks for an objection? shame on him
