Bass looks to hold most of the aces in the Merchants, with Rushing Wind well weighted to reverse form with Captain's Secret, but the one that could spoil the party for the yard is the enigmatic Bush Pirate.
M'Lords Throat (what a name!) looks the best of the day after cracking a good draw for once. Theatre Cat can go close back in a sprint (and get some big points for the SA team in the process), Green Keeper and Al Masri could be a bit of a match race, and I really would like Bayard in the last if it wasn't for his rotten draw. The train smash race looks to be the seventh, where Divine Silver and Penthouse should both be included in everything.
I'll leave it to someone else to fire up the owners' colours debate again.

I'm watching ''under starter orders'' this morning and cannot hear a thing Candice Roberts is saying (too much background noise)... What the fark is the use of interviewing trainers if you can't hear a word they say:X

Yah, this where Karl Neisius would have been invaluable in the team.

But let's not forget that this is where Anton Marcus cut his teeth in racing. It may be easy to forget now, but Kenilworth is his old hunting ground.

Race 1 - Dancing Royale
Race 2 - M'Lords Throat
Race 5 - Green Keeper
PA - 3,4,10 X 1,3,5 X 4 X 5,8,9 X 5,8,11 X 2,10 X 3,7 = R324
Thats my bets for today with some famous "Kamanchie" Chicken Curry and Gin and Tonic all the way
Can't see South Africa loosing the Jockey's Challenge
Cheers

Batman of course you can race three wide and win at kenilworth JP vd Merwe rode the cape jockeys to sleep on Rosie Tibb a few weeks ago making a sweeping run wide around the turn and Solo Traveller raced wide to an impressive win
