Thanks for all the good wishes and very glad that we can help in "beating the bookies". We have now been working and training our horses for nearly 2 years under Barry Steenkamp. We are lucky that Barry has allowed us to indulge our passion for racing by working with him and having charge of our own 23 horses in a barn.

All tips on ABC are only regarding our own horses and what we hear from the odd jockey. Looking forward to Friday.....

Any thoughts off going alone?

Ok so you guys train your own string under B Steenkamps banner. Well i must say you certainly know whats going on .

I must say thanks to you Mark your posts are well appreciated on the site and to be honest when I have runners its hit and hope, followed by the jockey never listened, that must have been my last 10 runs?

I guess some trainers know what to expect and some don't?

Hibs, Dorrie is an assistant and I am a stable emplyee. We have spoken to the stipes and once she has done at least a year as an ass.trainer then she can apply for her own license (Feb 2011). Looking forward to that but will be forever grateful to Barry for his support. We only need one license so that will be in Dorrie's name.
