The Deal is they buy the horses and ship them to uk or Dubai they have allready been offerd a profit on the horses so i dont think it was such a bad deal by the way you dont mention Jaroslaw that i was told by so called experts that he had no chance in racing competively in UK or Dubai but he ran and won in UK and was placed in Dubai and should do the same again this year so maybe the owners are not so foolish after all.

I guess it is hard for us to gauge how good our form is against that of the English turf/poly/dirt? It just seemed to me that the horses they sent over was quite exposed here and I did not think they could do well overseas. Jaroslaw is a different case altogether. He won 3 or 4 in SA (i think) and his form was strong.

anyway thanks for letting us know, it just interested me why they chose the horses they had!

The horses where bought at yearling sales and only ran early to see if they could run they will only improve with age as they are all over 16 hands and Major Victory closer to 17 there are plenty of so called better horses being exported but you only see a handfull winning it would be interesting to get a list of all hoses exported and see their results.

Just noticed that SAF horse is running again today

No spoke to trainer said looked easy race but prefered to let him recover, Major Victory in on Tues at southwell not sure the deep sand will suit him but training tracks very deep in SA so should handle it jock will be Adam Kirby who spoke to me after he worked last week and could not believe he ran so bad on thurs. The third horse is a filly Amica by Silvano she is the best of the three is entered for a Listed race on wed but suggested we aim for a maiden first, they rang me after working her on friday and said she worked very well so looking forward to her running.

Well the next one to look out for is Amica she is the same as D`artagnan they where never ment to be two year olds and where bought with the view to race them in uk and Dubai, Andrew Fortune really liked D`artagnan said he felt like a decent horse and looks like every thing is going to plan owners are over the moon good PR for S.A horses and with the Cape Sales coming up they will come back and buy more.

Welldone Ernst a word of caution though,the opponents he faced yesterday was a level below Kimberely,well below!

Well all he could do was win and thats the name of the game, look out for Amica next week.
