Would you have preferred it if I'd said the Food network? (

I don't know which of those two I'd rather see lose....

Ah well, the lousy weather means I don't have to go outside and clean the pool. I guess every cloud has its silver lining....

Dont get me wrong, I am still the BOSS in this house!
Mrs S moans and growns and I just ignore her and carry on with the dishes and ironing.

You are hard to please....let me try again. How about the History channel? Rhema bible network? TCM??
Oh and you think you've got problems? I'll be 52 next year. I spoke to one of my old school chums yesterday for the first time in 34 years. The last time, we were in a classroom together. Now he's a grandfather.....where do the decades go?

A time of year when people try to be somewhere other than Gauteng....but looking at various weather reports and forecasts I reckon it would have to be Cape Town today. There's no way we would be racing in Durban, and the weather forecast for PE is dismal (tomorrow might be in jeopardy, if the forecast is right.) However, I agree that stand alone meetings on a public holiday in the middle of the festive season should never be scheduled for Joburg. That's why there's another one on 27th December. Only Kimberley would have been a worse choice (although maybe it's not raining there??)

tabgold.co.za has been showing the meeting off for hours now, go to their homepage and subscribe to the Racing News Mailing List. You then get everything via email, final fields for big races, news and notifications of meetings
