That's where I come from - " Butchers, bakers and candlestick makers ". The boys in the totes, who couldn"t give a continental S@#T about all the politics and goings on in racing - Not two flying >>>>> do they care. So that's where my affinity and allegiance lies and that's who I talk to and consider FiRST when I'm on air. So if they take a R10 ATC and win and if they could have got an extra R10 or R10 less with the bookie, don"t fool yourself they don't care as much as you do with your huge bets cause they collecting sunshine. Nicer tote facilities and more info is what I wish for them in time to come and good wins. Viva the legions in the tote, the oft forgotten. The oft is the Shakespearean for you pirates.

I was under the impression that the sound in the 'totes' are turned down - so I'm not sure they can hear you?

The sound is up in the totes although the audio in a number, could be improved. Never seen punters huddled around to listen Frodo ? I say that meaning whoever is on as in UK presnter, Kranji etc etc etc etc.

No, I havent - but I'll take your word for it - I'm not fighting with you - but in my view the fact that the pools are up and that the ATC is a 'success' (and that's good for me as an owner), does not mean it is 'fair' to the punters.

Well I think if you take roughies it ain"t bad at all, especially the place. Depends how much you investing Frodo. If I had a good early win and wanted to give it a GO, I would take it with Betting World ( Before anyone calls " FOUL ' that's where I play ! ). I do play the ATC with a cover place system on the tote though.

yes chainsaw you care so much for the 10 rand punter that you couldnt give a damn if his atc returns him much less than it would if he took it with a bookie...why not tell him who to back as well whike you at it as it is proven time and time again that the fancied runners pay less than what the bookies AVERAGE PRICE FOR THAT HORSE IS...why dont you tell him that every win pool on the tote is TAXED 20 PERCENT AND WITH THE BOOKIE YOU PAY A 1 OFF 6 PERCENT FOR THE WHOLE ALL TO COME...you the one who is ripping off the 10 rand punter...

I was a bit confused yesterday. I wanted to have a go at the Lingfield "Jackpot" where the likes of Baker, Catlin Turner were riding. To my disgust and dismay there was no Jackpot at Lingfield available as it seemed that racing from Turkey had secured the final Jackpot spot on the Atote. WTF!!!!

Lets bet blind into horses with names we cannot pronounce and Jockeys we have no clue about rather than have a reasonable chance with Jockeys horses trainers in the UK. I cant imagine what the excuse for this can be.

Could not agree more Al, it would appear that Turkey/Italy etc have priority over UK racing, its a sin for the punters and make no mistake you can hear it in the frustrated voices of the presenters. :(

Are the presenters frustrated on behalf of the viewers or because they want to punt themselves.......?>:D<

Maybe frustrated or want to punt, but whatever it is it makes a mockery of Chainsaws comments on "caring for the R10 punter". Obsceure racing venues serve the interests of one part only - the Tote operators. They want this global domination thing at any cost and once again it ill be done on the backs of the SA R10 punter who they really dont give a fuck about. Excuse the language but there is no better way to express this!!!!

I encourage all who visit the totes to educate the punters on this crisis and try and encourage them to boycott these obscure venues.
