It would not made any differance. Barcelona were immense as the guy in the Sky studio said its Arsenals own fault for finishing 2nd in the group.

Seems to me that UEFA are out to get the English clubs. Looking at it again my opinion is that the ref is a cheat.

OUTCLASSED WRONG GAME PLAN.

I was torn, my favourite club team vs my favourite English team. Barca never seemed to come out of 3rd gear for and could have handed out 8 -1 defeat had they just taken their opportunities and not tried to complete so many passes in and around the box before shooting. I don't believe that van Persie would have made much of a difference had he stayed on. Arsenal were brave in defeat though.

I predict that Arsenal will be at the top of the pile in a season or two. I would get rid of Betner and find one more decent striker (van Persie is always injured). They are very much playing the style of football that Barcelona were playing 3 or 4 seasons ago and look at Barca now. In fact Arsenals style would probably have suited Torres more than Chelsea. We all know that Wenger prefers to develop talent (cheap) rather than pay bombs.

actually i think arsenal were made to look very ordinary... barca didnt allow them to have the ball so they couldnt attack as they normally do... totally outplayed in every department

Being a Spurs fan i breaks my heart to mention the followng. I hate Arsenal BUT i reckon as soon as their debt is paid off they will spend spend spend and they will be a super power in european football under wenger. I think there is a master plan at work here and he is in on it, they speculated with the new stadium, there are a few more years left and then come transfer window things will happen.

For now i am hoping spurs carry on this amazing journey.......
