Scotty still in - Stefano is out. I predict the following for the next few weeks.

Jacob then Haley or Haley then Jacob next although Lauren is starting to wobble a bit under the pressure. She is starting to act like Thea did (deer in the headlights) shortly before she exited. She will probably make top 4 though.

After this weeks performances (I watched last night) Casey maintained his trajectory to the top spot. James had one of those "defining moments" equalled only by perhaps not the same high standard of singing, but pure entertainment value in Casey. Scotty limited his performance to the usual unknown country music.

Sorry Al, I know you fancied him. He is a great musician....maybe not the best singer. He will make it big if he can get his stomach problems under control and if he can stop being a drama queen.

Oops - Got that one horribly wrong. Honky tonk Alfred E Newman will probably win then. My wife has been saying (to her disgust) that Scotty will win this.

Must have been those people who frequent the sites that Al used to do base his media research on who had it in for Casey this week.

In the last 2 weeks James has drawn pretty close to level with Scotty, its a 2 horse race now.

Lets hope James brings home the cash, I know I'm biased as I've got a bet running but for me he is the most entertaining performer...

I must say I am really disappointed for Casey, I really believed the American public was ready for a real artist! He will go on to make a killing regardless.
