Hi Greg...clan...

Detzky's Tao was out for nearly a year - his first two runs dismal due to chip in joint we only picked up after 2nd run. Successful operation, gave him plenty time to recover.Heather was very patient and did a great job. He's fit and well - always concern that first run after rest but taking our chances. The claims was mine. We have Blue Spirit to beat but I thought it a good gamble as it's BS's first run on sand and a 18 draw. With respect to Typicalman and Dallas Dancer and Mike Azzie Cape raider. Detzky's Diamond have met some of these previously and finished in front a few and Tao is easily 8lengths better than him. He has galloped on the sand in preperation of todays run. Got big feet as his nickname is "soup plates" so he can get stuck in.

Based on everything mentioned I felt it worth taking a bet. No sure thing but if one doesn't take chances you'll never know.
