Let me get your opinions about something.........
Do you guys think Anthony Delpech is a little scared of riding horses from the front? He seems reluctant to go to the front if the race conditions don't pan out the way he may like?
On Bage he should have taken him straight to the front with no pace on, but anyway I don't believe he would have beaten the Marcus horse. A more glaring example could have been Charlie Trimble in the 2nd? I know they connections probably wanted to sit him in and make him stay, but with blinkers on there WAS NEVER ANY WAY he stays. I'm just wondering if you guys think he is a little weak from the front or not?

Agree Tommy, if there is a more unlucky horse will someone tell us. Anton said he was on his way to win the race. He had just got into his real stride
when he was taken out. He was furious and went straight into the stipes room. I would expect a few jockeys to get some time in the forthcoming enquiry. Thunder Creek seems like he may be seriously injured. I will find out in the morning and let everyone know. Thandolwami was also cut into on his off hind in the interference. It is such a pity for everyone that we could not have had a clean race and best horse wins whoever that might be.

When Anton made his run he was right next to Lady Magpie. As they went for the gaps Anton was edging ahead of the filly who was also sustaining her run.
Craig, you guys are desperately unlucky with him!!!
Hope he pulls up ok and that Oscar's Thunder is also ok!!!!

Newturf, thanks for the post and well done with Audit Report. Some of your other horses ran quite nice races, notibly Carte Blanche ran on nicely. Looks like the stable has turned and i am very happy for you guys. Well done again.

Morning, just spoken to Frikkie and he says that Thunder Creek will be ok. Thandolwami will go back back into work tomorrow. Aiming him at a 1700m merit rated 102 on the 9th April. Maybe Scotia will be rewarded this time for tipping him!
