Not to mention the miss by Lampard (for which Torres was blamed). Torres faced with the keeper diving to block the predictable shot to his right tries to steer it to keeper's left but misses. However it doesn't matter cos it nearly goes in and bounces to Lampard who has a simple put away. Some how he fluffs it. Torres blamed.

Hilton I told u before the world cup why I don't rate Rooney. IMO has doesn't have much deception and is too predictable. If he was a simple goal poacher like Ian Rush that would be different but he's not he plays a lot deeper. Messi can make a whole defense go the wrong way. Drogba is also more skilled at turning a player than Rooney is. That's my opinion, yours differs.

CNC its Chelsea's own fault that penalty, maybe if there 50 million CHEAT stopped diving the ref would of given it, but you can't blame him for not ..... Torres is the biggest flop around and has resorted to cheating to try and get a goal .....

Why Chelsea substituted Drogba is a mystery, was the biggest threat to United the whole evening..... Saying that United stuck to a game plan and all credit must be given to Fergie for his substitutions (Nani) and dropping Valencia into right back ... That combination actually worked very well and stopped the threat of Cole bombing down the flank....

The penalty in question is not the Torres dive, which it was, but a minute earlier when Evra took out Remires in the box.

If Torres is such a flop then why, when he played for Liverpool, did he destroy United time after time. He loves playing at OT and on Tuesday night he will knock United out.

Yes United did deserve the win as they defended well and always looked dangerous on the attack.

it seems that torres was bought by chelseas owner not the coach...with all due respect the form he is in he shouldnt be starting against united or any other team for that matter no matter what he cost..for his sake i hope he does find his form because he is world class when he is on song
