This 'BARBARIC EVENT' still going strong every year,it took a while to get fox hunting eliminated,but i think its back again,so why should they ban the Grand National,especially when its a full house money making event.Rather watch the manures getting beat,as simple solution.

True, Greg. However, there is always hope. Didn't the Catalans recently become first region of Spain to abolish bullfighting? It would have been considered a heresy just a few short years ago.

I doubt if any horses will die during the race today as the going is good so the horses will know where the safe ground is. When the track is muddy or very firm thats when plenty of fall occur

to have some knowledge about this please put together a PA for us novices? For me personally, I'd be looking to cover McCoy in every race - if he runs out of the money the dividend soars?
