One horse that cost me was Paddy 'o Reilly - I tried to select horses that were in Durban and 'sure' participants - I specifically included PoR as my 'distance' horse, and thought he would definitely run in the Gold Cup - well something obviously went amiss with him.
Another disappointment was Flirtation - I never thought she would run in the July - I included her to represent me in races like the Golden Bracelet - well I guess part of the fun is trying to predict which races one's selections will participate in.
And one of my 3yr old colts was Run For It - turned out he never really did
