In those days I used to work for a bookmaker. There was total pandemonium in the office. I wish there had been online betting sites - unfortunately my hands were tied then. Was a gloomy day. Absolute gentleman my ex boss though - the writing was on the wall and he never knocked any client back. We answered every phone knowing each call would put us further into trouble.
