O K it's great stuff then and the racing authorities in the USA have completely lost their minds for now trying to curtail the usage in horse racing not to mention Canada
and 80% other racing countries. Here our local authorities don't even have time and man power to ensure that trainers are not starving their horses let alone trying to determine if they are getting enough even more costly electolites to replace lost sodium, potassium and other important trace element levels after being purged by the over used diuretics. I myself have not as yet been jabbed with Lasix or Salix but know a few people that have. They told me it was the worst medical experience that they have ever had.

Oscar, trouble is some non-bleeders also get put on it ... River Jetez ran with Lasix in her on Saturday and she's no bleeder ... but it's a fact that she would not have been competative without it. Almost all American horses run on it for the simple reason that they don't win without.
Even with a more honest system, where only actual certified bleeders may use it on raceday, it actually FAVOURS the bleeders over non-bleeders because it makes them pee out 12-13 kg of weight a couple of hours before running. What would that do to breeding if it was a big race, one that could make or break a stallion's prospects?
