Thanks for all the good wishes today - unfortunately could not deliver - Star Rating was put into the gates too early (Dom complained afterwards) and he was slow to start and squeezed and never got into the race - I think we now know that he races one way - he needs to jump and go - and I think he is worth another chance.

Laurel could not get any cover, but it does seem that 1200 is just beyond her - fair run just pipped for 4th

Well done to the winners of the tipping competion.

We were satisfied with Espectro's first run, he was above himself and took quite a hold going down to the start. He however broke beautifully and showed good speed before running out of steam in the last 200. He will run in a 1000 or 1200 sprint next time out and we hope he will be competitive. The one worry is the field today wasn't the greatest and he will have to improve but he does seem to have scope.

Sorry about your runners today Frodo but I hope you have a lovely holiday.
