Massive league matches this weekend.
Arsenal take on Chelsea at lunch time on Saturday. A win for Arsenal will virtually ensure 3rd for them and will make Chelseas chance of partcipation in next seasons Champions League slim unless they win this seasons competition and in doing so condeming the side finishing 4th into the Europa League. I think that Chelsea will win (5/2) because Arsenal will still be shell shocked from the surprise defeat against Wigan.
Aston Villa v Sunderland is a must not lose match for the Villa. They have 35 points and need a few more to ensure that they stay up. The twist is that the Sunderland manager is the former manager of Villa. Will he want to stick to to Villa?
Blackburn v Norwich. A defeat for Blackburn will virtually send them down. Somehow I think that they will win the match as Norwich are safe and have taken the foot of the gas.
Bolton v Swansea. If this match were at Swansea I would have to say that Bolton whould hve little chance but been at home I think that they will get the win that they sorely need.
Fulham v Wigan. After Wigans two massive wins their confidence must be sky high, Fulham are pretty useful at home. A draw looks the likely outcome
Newcastle v Stoke. Cannot see beyond a big Newcastle win.
QPR V Spurs. Qpr are fighting for their lives and Spurs need the win to put pressure on Arsenal. Difficult one to call.
Man United take on Everton (make sure to back Rooney to score the first goal as its almost certain that United will get a penalty, as they always do, in the first 15 minutes).
Wolves v Man City. If Man City score early this could end up very messy for Wolves.
Liverpool take on WBA. A draw is the obvious call.
