I think we saw a few interesting things today/night.
1. South African Pride - PE was absolutely awesome - I have not heard a rendition of our anthem like that before - The volume of the song did not change at any stage. This is the last thing the players will remember before leaving our shores.
2. Hotline it looks like they sent up the Newlands boys all dressed in Black - Bobby Skinstad could not resist and commented something along the lines of "Good to see all the New Zealand supporters have flown over, all kitted out in their All Black regalia"
3. Bismark Du Plessis is a tosser. He got called off in a meaningless Tri Nations match against the All Black B team and could not resist a public display of disgust. Sorry for the "atheists and anti politicians" but that was a Malema move if ever I have seen one. He knows that he is SA's number one hooker but chooses to display disgust publicly in order to fall in with the opinion of the the masses. If we lose it will be because individuals did not buy into the grand plan! The last thing a team needs is a divisive element in the team. I say - leave that twat behind!
The Boks won and a whole lot of money seems to have been lost. They did what was needed and will peak at exactly the right time. The All Blacks will go SA cricket again and shoot their bolts midway through the competition as they have always done.
