Great now someone is getting the storey Do you know who had the idea of the pick 6 Prof Herbst. The big man GT had his wife working at turfontein now some big official in the EAST I think singapore.Noone ever liked Jo he was to straight talkingThis is just a fraction of what comes to mind.It really makes me cross because I knew this was going to happen but my tiny connections could say and do nothing. The fact of the matter is it is a TRUE HORROR STOREY and I am sure Jooste was Turffonteins hereo the big sponsor of the Summer Cup what he said even god would not change. At that time the biggest race ever afforded to Newmarket was a 2500000 Tony Ruffell handicap GRADE 3.Turfontein had the SUMMER CUP ,DINGGANS NURSEREY. Germiston had the NOVEMBER HANDICAP COMPUTERFORM SPRINT just a few I remember all GRADE ONE where was there any fair play, but despite that NEWMARKET WAS ALWAYS FULL ON RACEDAY EVEINGS.Why because the public liked racing there the facilties were top class and you were made to feel welcome.Keep on plodding the truth will come out.Get rid of these people in the industry that manipulate, employ marketing and professional men.Patrick Davis started as a junior to Geoff at newmarket.Geoff Moffert used to be in charge of the handicapping and programme of racemeetings we were never short of races for our horses,I think Charles Laird took this over and it has never been right since any more links developing ,left that job became trainer to one of the strongest men in racing. If WAS some of these people I would move to ZIMBABWE there management style would fit in with exactly the same principles as Mr Mugarbes government. It would work very well LOL no chance of that we are firmly placed on the GRAVEY TRAIN. WITH THE MIGHTY A TEAM.
