Now you are taking the piss. 4 0f the 8 misssing from yesterday will be playing (unless they get injured on international duty) Arsenal will win big. Mark my words even though I love to see these huge clubs down

I think the break will give both teams a chance to regroup.

But would not have guessed they would both be so far down the table early on.

Rovers all dismal so far

I would like Spurs to do well, seeing their sponsors are Investec.

What about the revered Harry Redknapp. At least Arsenal had some movement off the ball and always looked dangerous in attack unlike static Spurs vs Man U. No team coached by Wenger would lose 5-1 at home either. Man U have an inexperienced keeper who is suspect at crosses. Redknapp leaves Crouch on the bench only to play him the next game.

Wenger has won trophies and done the double twice. From wiki "His nickname Le Professeur was given to him by former Arsenal players and is still used by fans and the British media today, reflecting his astute and forward thinking approach. He is often credited for revolutionising the state of the game."

Compare that to praise on wiki for Redknapp from former Ireland coach Johnny Giles, ""He's got a very, very good knowledge of the game, Harry. I would describe him as an old-fashioned football man. I remember seeing an article by Harry in which he wrote about not understanding a lot of this jargon about modern coaching, and that it's not as complicated as people make it out. I would agree entirely with him. Harry has, as they say in the game, an eye for a player. He's a good judge of a footballer and 80-90 per cent of successful management is about getting the right players in the club. You don't see him complicating it with big tactics or formations."

Redknapp no doubt has an eye for a player but imo the above description sums up why he will never make the transition from good coach to great coach.

IMO in any sport these days relying on an old fashioned aproach will never get you to the top with the hapless former Bok coach Rudolph Struelli being the best example in rugby.

BTW I'm a QPR fan, while Spurs is probably my second team, so no favouritism in the above opinon.
