yday race2.;...now if i boxed the horses i fancied i would have made a killing..... so yes boxing horses does have its pro's n cons... different strokes for different folks.....(

cant get on MONTY...comes up blank everytime since this morning,internet error.

lol,OBSERVER i have NO connections in racing bt according to me i make more than some of these guys can dream of!it all comes down to reason...why do u bet on horseracin?for fun?as a hobby?to make a little extra cash?to make a decent profit?or to MAKE A DECENT LIVING?

There was a time, some years back, when you could box the 6 highest drawn horses at Vaal Sand 1000m and make a profit...it changed.
Prompted lots of research into those UK courses with a strong draw bias..Chester, Beverley, Thirsk,etc...had to wait 3 years for the pay back...it then changed.
For 95% confidence with 5% limits of accuracy you need around 400 examples.
Good luck...they still take out 25%!!!

Got to be more discernment than boxing...but it will have its days.

IMO I think it always comes back to one thing, whether you're playing straight bets or exotics, and that is value. No point boxing horses that are over bet in the market, you'll always come short, either by upsets or poor payouts.
