But the heading says 'Intent for places' - P6 is not a place bet - but well done - if my calculations are correct, one would have made a small profit if investing an equal place stake on every runner mentioned - 2 out of 8 trifectas and no quartets.
For the sake of debate, perhaps you can inform us why the runners you selected qualified being 'intent' selections - and others not?

All I can say is I am sorry if it WON then Frodo
Point I am trying to make is that intent "picked" the outsiders in the races... like I said before Form is only part of the puzzle...
Not interested in debating the fact so I will not be disclosing why those one's qualified for intent BUT I will try doing the intent selections for the next few days in time before every race so that we can analyse what part they have to play...

Loopy,
I am not trying to bash your selections - all I'm trying to find out is whether it would be worthwhile (money wise) for me to pay attention to your 'intent' selections.
When you label something 'Intent for places'; the fact that some of the selections won, does not have any relevance imo - one would not have placed winning bets on these - they are 'place' selections; now if you labeled them as 'Intent for Each Way' then it's another matter - would be interesting to do the sums on what would have been the outcome if one had wagered and equal stake each way on all the selections.
And it is certainly your right to not disclose the factors that would indicate 'intent' - but then I for one won't be paying attention to selections which (for all I know) could just as well have been pulled out of a hat
Anyway, to each his own and good luck with the analysis

@ Frodo:
The heading did say "Intent Rules for places" so what I meant with that was the ones rated on INTENT to be included in your Tri/Qrt selections as places NOT THE FULL TRI or QUARTET since obviously there is form rules as well , however Like you probably know since I have said it MANY times I only play PA's and have 2/3 place bets a day (on 25% exposure of a running kitty) , yesterday being Polo, Sermon (my comp selection thinking it will pay the most on tab to place of the 3 which did not come) and Indian Firecracker. Usually if Form and Intent ratings goes hand in hand then I will short select if they don't I will long select... Personally I love utilising these to LAY on betfair since inevitably if there is no intent or very little intent from a strong favorite the horse does not win.
You decide after the next few days of supplying the intent selections whether they are worth while to include in your selections...I know the answer to that already
@ 2Cents:
You gusy are so easy to slang someone else's methods since they are not in your thought patterns... Free your mind you might just learn something .. I can assure you these Intent Rules are not guesswork and if you open your mind to them in the next few days you might just learn to respect them.
I will say it again... There is summarized 3 aspects IMO 1) Form 2) Intent and 3) Value..if one of these are not met there is no PLACE bet for me.
That's my 2Cents ...
