Favourite used to be PE a very long while back.

Quartets, Willie Uys & Gavin Venter for 1st and 2nd, with field for 3rd and 4th. Caught some really good value for money bets, for a small outlay, with outsiders finishing in the placings.

I know this is a "course" post, but would like to add something.

I personally do not know any jockey, but know of punters who have been in contact with jockeys, and have punted winners, and remunerated jockeys on information they have received. To use the old cliche, "straight from the horses mouth".

While, all I did was study races after they had run, and identified "performing jockeys", irrespective of which ride they have, and placed my bets accordingly.

Used to work then, how times have changed.

Now a thing of the past.
