OK have spoken to Interbet as I would guess being an exchange they are in a better position than most to try and create a market, they will list the people mentioned on this thread and hopefully with a few requests from the punters and a few lays from the bookies the market might take shape, but at this stage can find no-one who is prepared to go 5/2, 4/1 etc on specific names.
Plus do you know when it will be announced? If its only going to be in 2 years?

It will have to be before the June test matches but i would guess they will choose the new coach before the Super15 to give him time to have a look at the players closely to be able to select his squad...
I see LM Bookmaker are the first to price up on the market... Interesting to see Jake White is interested again...

Scotia - My guess ( I repeat : GUESS ) is that Alistair Coetzee must be a warm order to get the post if he applies.
He served under Jake White, has done well with the Stormers and WP ( admittedly without yet winning anything ) and , importantly, ticks the correct political boxes. He has the added advantage of reasonable credibility in front of the cameras so is unlikely to have to spend too much time and energy explaining misinterpretations of sound bites.
I don't believe any former coaches would be successful in getting appointed which eliminates White & Mallett. I also don't think that we are yet ready for a non-South African coach.
Nick Mallett had the good sense to blush when the matter of coaching 'blind spots' was raised on TV by Taine Randall. Notable 'blind spots' by recent coaches :
Mallett : The Teichman/Skinstad issue.
White : The fetcher issue and his inability to recognise what Brussow had to offer.
De Villiers : The Smit/Du Plessis issue.

Natural progression would have made AC head coach after JW era. If he was not successful then, why now!!! He would surely ask himself the same.
