Merheee is rumoured to be De Kocks BEST 3 year old - so its going to be a great race. 2/1 a bit short just based on whats in the field, but find something else and take a double.

Must give a BIG (tu) to bettingworld. Have come out with betting for all 12 races on Saturday. They are also offering 3/1 on Merhee.

It's called passion and Mike Azzie knows nothing about anything else, but racing....his brother Phillip is in the restaurant industry. To make it big as a trainer you have to have very good horses and to have very good horses you must be connected to the right people who can buy/bring top horses. Azzie has put his whole "baby" into PP. Has already bagged a Gr1 race....and
done it from a maiden win....a feat that is not that easy and even if the form is weak/crap it is still black bold type. Dean K has a handful of potentially top 3 year olds and has the 3yr old Cape Classics at his mercy. The Dingaans since being relegated to a Gr2 is no longer a target for Cape raiders as it does not have the prestege it once had. PP may not win the Dingaans but will be the best turned out in the ring.

Mutiman, PP will win Dingaans..

Remember he had GMTGL behind him,Silver flyer,fighting warrier just to name a few..
Those are amoung the best 3year olds in the country and when you watch the race, he led from start to finish and ddnt even break a sweat, no matter is Striker got an early run or not PP imho won with loads in the tank..

We can say the going ws heavy, but you still gota win here!!

@Bad Company,

the Selengor will not be easy for GMTGL there are lots of others with chances, 2nd run after a rest may catch him out or not, Liancourt Rock , Variety Club, In a Rush and a few others to make this a interesting race....

Delving into PP pedigree and can only agree that if the track comes up soft he will have an undeniable chance.....but I think he is a Derby horse as the mile and a quicker track will be in Merhee's favour....;)

Agree about Merhee, Frodo, especially since Mike Azzie clearly looks far past the Dingaans, at 10 furlongs etc with P.Palace. Merhee won like something very special, unbelievable turn of foot, last 400m. Interesting to note that Lips selects Straw Market to win the Dingaans on Sat. Draws for Dingaans, interesting - P.Palace = 13 , Merhee = 10, Straw Market = 2

On the 'Dingaans' thread (hard to keep up with the different threads), I also mentioned that imo Straw Market is the right one - so nice to know I'm in good company with SM being Magic's selection as well - still Merhee is going to be no pushover imo
