It seems as if the jocks really found the going tough. Marco van Rensburg mentioned that he was concerned and he also said something about a horse that picked up a fracture during the first race. Mr C Miller confirmed this in the interview and also mentioned that he would support it if the meeting is cancelled. Suppose the safety of jocks and horses must receive priority.

Yeah I went for Currahal but then everything ended at Flamingo
What is the problem with the surface or sand they use
Race caller was saying in the first race horses were battling
in the mud. Look at that result. Class prevailed in the second
but what about the other placings. If racing continued today I
was expecting a disaster

Not a Kimberly follower but just watch replays ?? Musi says well done to track manager, best fav of the day wins, it was not the rain? Some of the track dry and some wet?

Is there plans for the future? I gather track is not good ?

No way im actualy way to superstitious to take a bet on my runners! The biggest bet ive ever taken was r5000 win on waterjet when he won his maiden in vaal but never tried anything close to that since!! Most people do not know that both me and my dad played a big part in building the track and i know evrything about it and the only reason the racing was stopped 2day was due to bad managment of the track but unfortunately these things are kept in the dark.

Thank you Sean and I hope some corrective action will be put in place for the future as it's such a waste and frustration for trainers, jockeys and owners. Plus the image of track is very poor amongst the punters as u can see with the posts.
