Clarification on riding arrangements.

Hi Dave,

For the benefit of the public our riding arrangements work as follows:

1.       Anton has first call on all horses running in our colours.

2.       Where we race horses in partnership the person in whose colours the horse runs decides who to engage.

3.       If we have more than one runner in a particular race myself and Anton jointly decide on who to ride where after the stable jocks of respective stables gets preference.

4.       Glen Hatt rides most of our horses for Joey when Anton is not in town but is under no obligation to do so. We however have a great appreciation for  Glen’s commitment in Anton absence.

Anomalies may occur but this is how it works in general.

Kingslayer (King Slayer) is a big horse and doesn’t enjoy standing in the pens too long. He has been re-schooled and should hopefully jump on terms today.

Kind regards,

Derek Brugman

PS Don't support the open bet it's bad for racing.

thanks for clearing it all up...listening to david payne being interviewed by laff the other night how far behind is our press in relaying all the information possible to the betting public? ..we live in the dark ages when it comes to the daily racing press deciminating info to the betting public...my continued moans and groans on this topic are well known but continue to fall on deaf ears.

in an interview with David Thiselton - Anton said he could not make Unnanounced's weight hence he was riding Gibraltar Blue who he hopes doesnt hang out too much. But at the weights he made Unnanounced a big runner.

Ok thank you guys, so he is still technically riding for em still.
I always wondered why he always rode GB..

This is my analysis ok GB, she is a sprinter miler, who is tops at 1000m sprints,
Finds the 1200m sprints a bit long, but can stay a mile with front running tactics..

I know sounds baffling, but seems to be true
