Great day had by all at the big T,plus plenty of fun and excitement at the box today, and off course the eye candy was tops.Superb too have seen a decent crowd, reminded me off the late 70/80s when racing was tops, and congratulations too the hosts,it seems like they got it correct today.Bonus was that a few of our clan members walked out cash flush, after a nibble on the p6.From a tied zoro kali nigta,[goodnight],in greek.

Report: South Africa, Saturday
Turffontein: Sansui Summer Cup (Grade 1 handicap) 1m2f, turf, 3yo+
DANCEWITHTHEDEVIL (St John Gray/Gavin Lerena) came from last to first to dispel doubts about her stamina with a convincing win in the Summer Cup.

The 15-1 chance had won two Grade 1s over a mile earlier in the year but had also been well beaten when tried over this distance and there were also concerns about her style of racing in this 20-runner field.
A patient Lerena was content to drop her out and she still had only one behind her as she turned for home, when she began picking her waythrough the field to hit the front 50 yards out.
Lerena said: "They went quite quick early on but they eased it right up around the 1,200m to 1,400m markers. That played into my hands and going through the 400-mark I knew she was a huge runner."
Gray, who also owns and bred the mare, said: "I always held a belief that she would stay and today she has put the doubts behind us. She is a champion, and let's not call her anything else.
"She has her aches and pains, as all top athletes do, and physio Sue Franklin works on her three times a week. The vets also keep her going."
Mike de Kock, who has such a great record in this race, had to be content with second and third this time. Ilsanpietro was beaten a length and a quarter with the 2008 winner Rudra half a length back.
The Apache, the 15-4 favourite, was fourth but top weight Pierre Jourdan dropped right out in thefinal two furlongs to finish last but one.
