Oooh, that's a tough one to work out. You should get a job with the CIA.

All I ever did on Tellytrack was USO. Changes to the way the channel is run were never my business, but to be honest I don't think the presenting is a major problem. Because of all the racing which they now have to cover, it is inevitable that the presenters have to yap almost non-stop. That's what mute buttons are for!
However, in a dream world I wish we had studio presenters who offered more insight into a horse's form and chances, such as you hear on GBI, rather than just reading out endless dividends, betting moves, and will-pays. We can see that for ourselves anyway. I'd expect on course presenters to do their homework, but we all make mistakes and I remember on at least one occasion on USO making a horse hard to beat that had already been scratched the day before - so I don't want to cast too many stones!
The people at Tellytrrack who really make me see red are not he presenters, it's the back room boys who seem to endlessly push the wrong buttons, push buttons at the wrong times, leave the scroll on at the bottom while races are being run even if it completely obliterates the view of the horses fighting it out, insist on showing things in quarter-screen when bugger all is happening in the other quarter, and the endless list of other irritations and downright cock-ups that we have written about so many times.

But I don't even know if God can fix all of that...

I agree partly - I have met Cecil and he is a nice bloke - but really he talks too much - give the experts a chance to complete their sentences at least - as for me doing a 'top class job' - thanks but no thanks
