My nominations for the ABC awards:
Biggest balls - Magic, for saying as it is.
Worst tipster - Hibs, for failing to lose all his R100 punts in single hits in UD's competitions.
Biggest winjer - Frodo, forever complaining about UD's R1 minimum bets.
Best cook - dead heat for Scotia, Rob faux, gregbucks, soodum, davetheflower, for contributing to Xmas recipes.
More categories guys?

Best horse -igugu
Best trainer -mdk
Best jock-arthur marcus
Best commentator- basil
Best oncourse presenter-molly
Best studio prsenter -chainsaw
Biggest crybaby- azzman
Worst jock- andrew fortune
The most depressing thing (it may be true) is that my friends and the general public continue to think that racing is totally corrupt and will never have a cent on the horses or invest in a horse
Racings greatest news in 2011 was Frankel
Biggest flop by everybody standards excepts azzie- potala palace

Ye gods, with all those awards I need to get a bigger Christmas tree.
I don't follow much sport outside of racing, but here's a few of my "awards" for 2011"
Best horse: Frankel (international) and Igugu (SA), but Dancewiththedevil must get a mention.
Best human achievement in SA racing: St John Gray, fior breeding, training, and owning a Modus Vivendi that won four Gr 1 races. That's hard enough to do with a Jet Master!
My special "They should pay me to do this" award goes to Craig Eudey.(
)
I am not going down the best/worst jockey, trainer, presenter etc. award route. But, outside of racing, the flop of the year has to have been South Africa at the cricket World Cup (there's something you can count on every four years).
I think Sebastian Vettel earns a mention for becoming the youngest double world F1 champion ever and for outshining his teammate in an identical car in every race of 2011 except the last, when it hardly mattered any more. And the Italian in me will continue to follow impressive Napoli's progress in the Champions League with interest, even though I have never been to Naples and have no particular desire to..
