had one of my rare chances to go racing today ... much enjoyed! Specially as I managed to come home with a modest profit, entirely through a blessed roughie in the 7th, the aptly named Fairytale Story, that paid R5.30 for a place on the tote.

Took it on impulse ... saw she's been running against horses like Val de Ra and Mana Mou ... my other bets were well-thought-out, head-not-heart, sensible bets, ha ha, and they bombed utterly. Fairytale paid for my food and drink for the afternoon, plus a little over, the dear thing.
