She jumped with good gate speed and was initially well placed. I knew i was in trouble when, for some reason, after sitting directly behind the filly to beat he never held his position. Another 400m into the race he had let 2 other fillies in onto the rail.

I'm sure your comments regarding the balance of the race are spot on, i was too busy swearing :X

At least they have the right race, all 5 seconds of it. I cannot add up how many races are misplaced. Its pathetic. I contacted Teletrack to try buy all the races and then put them on my computer. It worked out to about R10500 a month without delivery. I never complained about the price, but could not afford to spend so much. Watching replays on the RA site is really too time consuming.

Nice 1600m race at Turffontein on the 14th Feb for Thandolwami. Maybe we see you there Dave but it is also the day that I have penciled in to bring Zatopek out again over 1200m at Scottsville. Might be a quick drive up there for the night meeting. I agree with you Magic. A length off 2nd after switching with less than 200m to go is not bad at all.
