Thanks guys - greg, the worst thing is, I know I will be back :( - Will probably make the long trek to the Vaal tomorrow to watch Laurel run

shrek - at present I think defending Middle Earth would be a breeze compared against trying to back a winner

Frodo, good luck with Laurel tomorrow. Your assessments are always top class. We all go through patches where we couldn't find a winner but it always swings back.

Thanks shrek - for the sympathy with my punting form (or more accurately, lack of form) as well as the good wishes with Laurel - she has been out with some minor niggles, so not sure if she will be at the top of her game - however drawn well, Gavin up, sand will suit - and a contender in a weakish field imo

Frodo at present I am in the same boat as you can't find a winner and on Saturday really fancied our Danger Point, with the slow pace behind the second horse had to check half way through and badly twisted his ankle, the jock didn't notice anything and he tried on his 3 good legs to run and severly pulled the muscles in his neck. He will we off for a couple of months or so. Not an easy game. :(

I also got stung with Pocket emptier twice now . He seems average . I thought he had a touch of class and felt just as confident as you Frodo . He is turning out to be a milker .

That's not nice shrek - as you say not an easy game - talked to Elvis today and Silver Specialist has also been given an enforced holiday for not wanting to go to the start - suspended until re-schooled - problem is they don't stop eating while they are not earning - and you will probably be receiving a few vet bills as well.

Solo, yes one needs to be prepared to take the few highs with a lot of lows - does anyone know what happened to that horse in the 3rd race last night that went over the rail - and any news on Evert?

On a much happier note - well done the the Magi with that P6 :)-D I did not even know a horse named Kelly's Heir was running ::o
