The HHCU were just stopped at the Lesthoto border and had to pay R2000 to get into the country(some daft tax) so if you can spare a few Rand please sms the number above...

Just had a phone call from Solly - things are very very bad in Lesotho. No funds to feed the police horses at Leribe - two have died so far and one is near to death. Horrible for me to be here, knowing what's going on, and not being able to get there to help Solly and Samson.

Hi all - have just sent 10 x sms's. Come on, match me... !

We do the following, as a yard -

1) We have a monthly debit order of R500 pm to HHCU.
2) All of our retired horses are placed through HHCU, as they only go to approved homes and are followed up over the years.
3) We transfer R1000 for every horse that they place for us. (we bill the Owner R500 and then match the Owner, from the yard).

These people are SAINTS !!!

The TB has just been handed over to the Unit,the new owners had never had a TB and couldnt care for it.

The last registered owner will probably get a shock when the Unit get in contact with them..
