Thanks guys - i think this answers somebody's question the other day on why we own horses - it's because of days like this.

Made the long trek to the Vaal (and back) worth the while - I think everyone will agree that the competition were a bit moderate (to say the least) but she won nicely (Gavin rode a pearler from a good draw) - luckily the vet who scratched her at the start a while ago for not striding out was off-duty today. She will probably get a good few points added to her MR - but that should hopefully only push up her sand rating and she is as effective on turf imo

That she did greg - not sure how accurate the times are on TABGOLD - but according to them she was the only runner today to break 73 secs over the 1200 - certainly the handicapper won;t miss that

Good one Frodo.......looks like 1200 sand, at her own pace, is exactly what she has been looking for!
Lets hope she doesn't get punished too much.
