I think WAW will be a good miler as well as 1200m sprinter.. He was closing in rapidly..infornately VDR is different class when it comes to 5furlongs..wow that filly got speed!!!

But WAW should mayb be tried at a mile.. Shud be his furthest though

Sheza, he seems to be settling a bit better lately.....agree, but the 1600m just looks like it is really going to be his optimum.....perhaps 1400m will be his chop! But deadly over 1200m!

SP WAW has won teh Selangor over 1600m already

Hmm he is a cracking 1000m sprinter aswell,dont forget he was beaten a neck and won the race the year before..

Probably the best horse racing in RSA atm imo ....

Yeah mate, I remember that now, thanks bud..

But shouldn't that be all the more reason to try him at those distances now that he is a older and stronger horse!! Espcially with so many CT races being affected with the 'cape crawl' and last furlong or so turning in2 a sprint, WAW should be very effective over the mile..

Imo wouldve been a huge runner in QP..I wouldve backed him head down..lol.

But hey what do I know..lol

Yeah over 1200m he is king, but could be a better horse in terms of earnings and range is tried again over 1600m

As 4 1400m, they won't touch him..

His turn of foot is devastating..he shows this in 6furlong races

Yes, in terms of earnings, i'm sure Mr Bass is going to let him loose over the 1600m very shortly. I did elude to this, but never cracked a draw for the Queens Plate

Agree Hibs, cracking 1000m sprinter as well..

Any horse whose won Gr1 at 1000m and Gr2 at a 1600m is a serious horse..
Maybe next year will be a QP contender..
