Alula Borealis has to be the value for E/W in the Derby. He was way too keen in the blinkers last time, and that is obviously why they have been removed now.He gave the impression in his wins over 1600m that the trip was actually on the short side for him and in fact the bottom end of his range,so I really don't see the trip being a problem for him.

Thanks for the stats and explanation. I got my sires wrong, thought GMTGL was also by go deputy but he is by More than ready of course. Therefore my question stemmed from many doubts about more than ready being a sire of classic horses. Anyway my bad and thanks for the exp again.

Astro news definitely worth a place bet..
His race behind polar bound was really impressive and fourie sticks with the mount should be a runner for the 4th places..
Has Run For It beat on that run and RFI is at 14/1 Astro 33/1!!
Mathematically, I'd go with AN just on their previous run

I like Beach Beauty for a place. There will be more speed than in her last race and will settle better, I expect to be there in the placings behind the fabulous Igugu.
