That's what makes him such a good horse..
Shouldve never won that race,never settled, fought with rider, but still got up and won.
That's a good sign

He did win and was a good win but did not coast home which is what I said he would not do. He was given a hard ride and 2nd horse also ran a very good race for a 3yr old. Alec's 1st words as he got off was " I just wish I had gotten some cover".

Craig you know how good Chill is, considering that and the fact the NE won..
How would you rate NE..using ur horse as a 'line' horse is I could use the word?
It was a good win imho because he beat the likes of Chill and Indian Hawk(who is also very good)..

Chill is a good horse with a lot of problems. I think he can win a feature if i can get and keep him sound. At the moment NE might battle to beat the top 3yr olds around like Variety Clud etc but give him his due it was only his 3rd run and can still get better. The 2nd horse was flying at him and he might have battled to hold him off for another 50 metres. You cannot do better in 3 races than win all 3 though!

I to think Chill Is a good sort, I hope he comes right for you.
Btw, I like French Reef a lot tomorrow..I think FR is a very good horse and always runs a good race

Nice race but wouldnt get carried away with it unless NE improves bigtime from racing and a trip,a battled hardened mid rater had them all wondering whats going on with 200 to go

I see that a filly by Holy Roman Emperor named Rollout The Carpet won a Gr 1 race for 2yos (beating colts) in New Zealand on Saturday. So he can get a good one, I guess.
