As gjmurrell says.....why was there no checking of the track before the races......or even better, yesterday. In that case the racing could have still potentially been moved to another venue.......all this nonsense really doesn't surprise me.

From what I could see on the TV the track is a disgrace and if they did gallop the course then not even the 1st race should have gone ahead.....

Thanks Hibernia, though what you can see is a little disturbing!

Not sure I would call Buenos Aires exotic but a class place for sure. For info, I know little about the behind the scenes stuff in racing, I just like a punt and have discovered that by monitoring the market there is money to be earned in SA, listening to guys like yourselves who seem fairly knowledgeable can only hopefully help.

GB... from Woking, Surrey, England... left NYE 2002 and been "on the road" since. Was 6-7 years in Pretoria running a backpacker hostel with my partner who I met there and is South African. Now in Buenos Aires, back to England in a month or so and not sure where thereafter...
