I didn't see that Clairwood race because I was at the sales and they had a problem with their DSTV, but from what I've heard it was so bad that a blind man wearing sunglasses could see it was dangerous.

magic...spoke to a local on course trainer yesterday....he said the turn is worse that the straight....so i asked him...what were they doing nominating horses for clairwood when they knew what the situation was....why was there no pressure from them...since its their garden and it isn,t maintained properley,....because i am sure they pay for the facilities...i also told him....if a lesser jockey won the 1st race....would youll have carried on....because..i really feel...that they should have had an input and an outburst

I know of at least one Clairwood based trainer who didn't even bother nominating for the meeting. I guess he saw it coming, or wasn't going to risk his horses on a minefield of a racecourse. From everything I've heard, it boggles the mind that anybody seriously throught they could race on that sh!t.

What is going to happen to management? Do they think a few words from Graeme Hawkins is good enough??? Even the silly written apology, that not all owners / trainers will even see, was just a load of crap if you ask me. Now they think all is rosy..............they had better wake up............and very soon!!!
